29th Annual Boutique and Family Festival

Dear Friends, On behalf of the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart at Sacred Heart Retreat House and St. Joseph Campus, I extend a personal invitation to you, your family and friends to join us on Saturday, November 6, 2010, for our 29th Annual Boutique and Family Festival. If you are new to the Retreat House, we can assure you that this will be a day of family enjoyment. And, if you have attended the Boutique in the past, we look forward to welcoming you again. Among the activities and variety of events of the day, there will be something for everyone—shopping for homemade gifts in the Boutique Hall, bidding for jewelry, furniture, and collectible items in the Silent Auction area, browsing in the outdoor religious goods store, eating lunch while listening to musical entertainment, choosing delectables from the Carmel Kitchen, adding plants and garden items to beautify your home, visiting our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament in our beautiful chapel, letting the children visit Santa and craft items in his workshop, and visiting with the many Sisters who will be present. In addition to attending, may we ask you to help us promote this fundraising event in your neighborhood and parish? We have many needs and, if you find among them areas in which you can help, please give us a call or send an email and we will promptly respond. WAYS TO HELP AND NEEDS
Volunteer to work for a couple of hours on the day of the Festival Purchase or sell the enclosed raffle tickets Donate items for the Silent Auction (value of $25 or more) Help with “take down” at the close of the Festival Sponsor a booth Contribute funds for the purchase of materials and ingredients for Carmel Kitchen The proceeds from the Boutique and Family Festival will be used for our Retreat House improvements so that we can best serve the thousands of retreatants who come each year to spend time with God and one another, giving refreshment and new strength in their life of faith! Each day as we come together for our times of prayer, the Sisters bring your intentions to our merciful Lord asking Him to reward your generosity.
